77IMPLANT DENTAL CLINIC
University-hospital-level wisdom tooth extraction care, right here in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do.
Wisdom teeth sometimes erupt straight, but they can also come in at an angle, grow horizontally, or remain fully impacted beneath the gum. A wisdom tooth that hasn't erupted properly can shift your bite alignment, and since it's hard to brush thoroughly, it can cause decay in the neighboring molar, which is why extraction is generally recommended.

Please carefully review these precautions and follow them closely — your cooperation is important.
After extraction, avoid taking a bath (showers are fine), drinking alcohol, or strenuous exercise.
Avoid touching the extraction site with your fingers or tongue. Bite down firmly on the gauze in your mouth for about 2 hours and swallow any saliva or blood.
If bleeding doesn't stop or occurs intermittently, fold a clean piece of gauze or cotton tightly, dampen it with clean water, and bite down for another 20–30 minutes.
Some light oozing (rather than active bleeding) is normal for a day or two after extraction.
Since anesthesia was used, your lips and tongue will remain numb for about 2–3 hours.
For about a day after extraction, eat soft foods and chew on the side opposite the extraction site. Avoid overly coarse or spicy/irritating foods.
Rest as much as possible for about a day, and apply cold compresses for 1–2 days.
If swelling worsens afterward, return to the clinic for disinfection and medication, and begin applying warm compresses.
