National Health Insurance Coverage for Implants

In 2016, the eligibility age for National Health Insurance-covered implants was expanded to 65 and over, allowing more patients to receive coverage benefits. What's more, since 2018 the patient co-payment rate has been reduced from 50% to 30%, substantially lowering the cost burden. In addition, near-poverty recipients and patients with rare/incurable diseases can receive 90% coverage of the medical benefit cost (10% co-payment), while patients with chronic diseases can receive 80% coverage (20% co-payment) through National Health Insurance.
