Post-extraction follow-up care
Gwangmyeong77plant Dental Clinic provides thorough guidance on post-extraction precautions and strives for thorough aftercare.
77IMPLANT DENTAL CLINIC
We provide wisdom tooth extraction treatment at the level of a university hospital in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do.
Wisdom teeth can erupt straight, but they can also erupt slanted or horizontally, or even be completely buried. Wisdom teeth that don't erupt properly can distort the teeth and, because they're difficult to brush, can cause decay in the surrounding molars, so extraction is recommended.
Horizontal wisdom teeth
Angle wisdom teeth
Vertical wisdom teeth
Our integrative dentist, certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, will perform even the most challenging extractions with precision.
With extensive experience in difficult cases and a wide range of wisdom teeth extractions, you no longer need to visit a university hospital.
Digital precision diagnosis allows for wisdom tooth extraction that takes nerve lines into account.

Patients must be fully aware of the precautions after wisdom tooth extraction and cooperate closely.
After tooth extraction, avoid bathing (showering is allowed), drinking alcohol, and strenuous exercise.
Avoid touching the extraction site with your fingers or tongue. Bite down on a cotton ball for about two hours and swallow any saliva and blood.
If bleeding persists or occurs occasionally, tightly wring out a clean gauze or cotton ball, soak it in clean water, and bite down on it for another 20–30 minutes.
It's normal to experience some bleeding, not a spurting sensation, for the first day or two after extraction.
Because of the anesthesia, your lips and tongue will be numb for two to three hours.
For the first day after extraction, eat soft foods on the opposite side of the extraction site. Avoid overly rough or irritating foods.
Get plenty of rest for at least one day, and apply cold compresses for one or two days.
If the swelling gets worse, you should visit the hospital again to receive antiseptic treatment and medication, and begin applying a warm compress.
